--- This issue reappeared in Corona 1.4. See recommended solutions below ---
1. Install all available Windows Updates
Note: restart your PC after installing all updates available on the list, and check for updates again - if new ones appear, you will need to install them again. Sometimes it is required to repeat this several times.
2. Uninstall (this is required!) and then install again Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Libraries.
Possible solution: start 3ds Max as administrator (right click on 3ds Max icon > Run as Administrator).
1. Reset Corona user files:
Go to C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\201X - 64bit\ENU\en-US\plugcfg\corona and delete "corona" folder.
Warning! It is generally safe to delete this folder, but you may lose some files like autosaved renders or render settings. To prevent this, instead of deleting the "corona" folder, you may rename it for example to "corona_old". The easiest way to open AppData folder is to type %AppData% in start menu search field.
2. Reset 3ds Max user files:

Warning! This will reset 3ds Max user settings that have been used on the computer.
